Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Ivette Lopez, M.S., CCC-SLP/TSHH is a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who has serviced bilingual Spanish communities for over 15 years in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan.
Ms. Lopez has clinical experience working with pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, private/public schools, private practices, and home-based services. Ms. Lopez also supervised graduate students at Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus.
Ms. Lopez obtained her Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus.
She is licensed in New York state as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA). Ms. Lopez holds her Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSSH) professional certificate. She is bilingually certified and has her bilingual extension in Spanish.
Ms. Lopez continues to service Early Intervention families in her private practice, Munchkins SLP Inc. She works for the Department of Education, District 7 in the Bronx and the Horizon Program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Ms. Lopez is a member of the American Speech Hearing Language Association (ASHA) and the New York State Speech Hearing Language Association (NYSSHLA). Ms. Lopez is the current Director of Private Practice for NYSSHLA, 2021-2022.
