Speech Disorders: Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders (Articulation/Phonological, Frontal/Lateral Lisps), Voice Disorders and Fluency Disorders.
Preschool Language Disorders (Receptive/Expressive), Learning Disabilities (Reading, Spelling, and Writing), and Selective Mutism.
Facilitate social communication skills in using language for different reasons such as greeting, informing, demanding, requesting, etc., changing language to adjust to the listener/situation, and follow rules for conversations/storytelling.
Facilitate executive functioning skills.
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cleft Lip/Palate,
Intellectual Disabilities and Down Syndrome.
Dysphagia, Sensory Food Aversions, and Tube Feedings.
Provider will consult with interdisciplinary team of the client including medical practitioners to ensure that all treatment plans are implemented and monitored in all settings for optimal progress.
Services will be provided in the language(s) needed for the individual client. The importance of bilingualism strengthens the client's connection with his culture and community.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) evaluations are conducted. A Bilingual evaluation is conducted to determine whether the client's challenges is a result of a disorder/delay or language difference.
Feeding and Swallowing evaluations are conducted to determine a feeding or swallowing disorder.
